According to IGN, Jane Espenson becomes Caprica's co-executive producer and perhaps more. Battlestar showrunner Ron Moore will take the lead in the writers' room, but will hand the showrunner duties to Espenson after February.

With the two hour 'Caprica' pilot completed, Sci-Fi has greenlit the series to begin production in the summer.
