Sarah Connor producer on how the show would have continued

James Middleton, executive producer of Fox's [i]Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles[/i], told SCI FI Wire that he remains passionate about continuing the story of the canceled series in another format, but does not want to get anybody's hopes up. Middleton had producing credits on both the series and the film [i]Terminator Salvation[/i].

Of all the shows that got canceled last season, one of the hardest to lose was Fox's [i]Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles[/i]. The series was canceled after two seasons of action, complicated mythology, rich characters and plenty of surprises, not the least of which was the series finale, in which John (Thomas Dekker) goes into the future, leaving Sarah (Lena Headey) behind in the past. The cancellation was all the more difficult to take considering that the lower-rated [i]Dollhouse[/i] was picked up by Fox, while [i]TSCC[/i] wasn't.
