The entertainment industry is a great reflection of what is happening. There are so many social frustrations and there are a great number of us who seek things that make us feel comfortable and yet, real. We are always seeking who we are.

Interestingly the changes in technology are causing changes that's causing chaos to older beliefs and values. The older generation, repeat of the past, have difficulty adjusting to the new changes. In this age, the changes are faster, than in the past, and even for the young ones the changes are just too fast.

We are in a whirl wind of societal changes and stability is hard to come by. As I work with teachers and students there is a trend for more stability. One of the first things people want is relationship. This is the stability for everyone in this era. We have all driven our society into a place for "suing". We are "sue" happy. Because of this untrusting society we've built many are looking for trust. Relationships is the key. Many films and music that hit home deal with this subject matter.

We use to be in a time where we didn't care and society seemed like it was in a stage of lust, technological growth, and the unknown. This was the time of science fiction and sex. Then we got into a period of war, where it was closer to home, and heroes and the anti-hero became popular. Now-a-days its more on human values and relationships. We look for happier times. Society is the disaster.

People can dispute and argue with what I've stated here, but it is only my opinion of what I am observing. It is interesting to see the changes occur and with every generation of parent, teacher, and child there is a relation between what's going on on the outside (society) and the individual. This intern influences the entertainment industry and of course everything comes down to money! Many chase the money. Why do we place so much on it? It runs our lives.
